my favorite piece of writing I did in Mrs. Manley class was our narrative essay. I like the narrative essay the most, because it was the start of being a freshman in college from the beginning to now and to see how I progressed in becoming a better more efficient writer.
In my essay I liked writing about my events how I ended up at Valley Forge Military college. If I had more time to write my essay I would change the details and add a little bit more about my senior year and my basketball season. From writing this essay I learned when writing narratives there are steps you take before your final copy is complete in order for it to have all the requirements. I learned in the writing narratives there all different depending on the writer and their story. The writing process is all about how you will make your narrative and what your narrative will be about. My session with Mrs. Manley was great she broke it down to me and excluded all the things in my paragraphs that was not needed. In addition to that she also told me what was good in each of my paragraphs for that specific event in my story. It was helpful because I was then able to narrow my story down to the main points and events I really needed In order for my narrative to have all the requirements to be efficient. One of three suggestions from Mrs. Manley my English tutor that I would take into my next narrative.
